Can I cancel my subscription?Yes. You can cancel your subscription anytime by navigating to the 'Subscriptions' tab and selecting your active subscription before clicking 'Cancel Subscription'. This will cancel your subscription but not delete your account or the account history. You will also be automatically refunded for any sales proposals remaining on the account.

How do I send a proposal to a customer?To send a Sales Proposal to a customer, open a customer listing in the Marketplace, scroll to the bottom, customise your proposal, and then click 'Send'. This will directly notify the customer of your proposal and send a confirmation message to your account email.

How does carvalue guarantee my proposal has been received and opened by the customer?You will receive a confirmation email from carvalue with your submitted proposal details and be contacted directly by the customer if they want to proceed with your proposal.

What is a similar vehicle offer?You can send our customers 'similar vehicles' to what they are looking for if the option has been selected by the customer, enabling more opportunities to sell your inventory. To send a 'Similar vehicle' proposal to a customer, it must match details entered by the customer, except the 'Make & Model'. You must select this option when submitting your proposal to the customer.

How do I send a similar vehicle to a customer?Only if the customer has selected to receive similar vehicles can you do so. You can do so by: Click on the Marketplace listing Navigate down to the proposal form Select 'Similar Vehicle' and enter your proposal as normal Any clearly ignorant use of classing similar vehicles will result in an account ban.

Proposals are non-refundable once sent.

Are sales proposal trade and sales offers estimated?Yes. As we are a website and can only supply images of vehicles and written detail, all dealings are considered "sight unseen", and therefore, all proposals are made up of estimated costs to be finalised elsewhere. However, inventory prices submitted to customers are quoted.

How do I customise what Makes, Models and Locations of buyers and sellers I am notified by?Go to the ‘Notifications’ tab. Scroll down to the Edit Notifications form > select make and models > select locations > choose which makes, models etc. for buying and selling.

How many Sales Proposals can I send to customers?Your active subscription will dictate how many sales proposals you can send to customers. If you have no more proposals remaining, upgrade by: Click the 'Subscriptions' tab Click 'My Subscriptions'. Scroll down to the Subscriptions Select a subscription with more proposals Depending on your subscription, you can send up to 500 plus proposals within one month. A Free Trial allows 50 free sales proposals to be sent to customers within 7 days of activating.

What is a trade-in request?Customers can use a form on your listing advert to submit details about their trade-in car including photos. You can use this information to respond with a trade-in offer estimate including driveway costs in to the same car.

How many dealers normally respond to purchase or sell listingsOn average, customers who list to purchase receive about 15+ different cost-inclusive offers from our dealers to compare. Customers who list to sell normally receive 10+ sales offers to compare.

What information is displayed to dealers?The only information we display to dealers under any circumstances are: - Your name - Your region We keep all your information to verify your account but never share your contact details with dealers.

Can I message dealers whenever I want?You are only able to message dealers in response to an offer they have sent you and dealers can only message you once you've responded to their offer. But if you delete your listing, the dealer will never be able to message you.

What if I don't know what I'm looking for?When it comes to selecting the make or model of vehicle, select 'I Don't Know' but include a budget so dealers know your budget.

Can I be notified when a customer is looking for cars I sell?Of course! You can set up notifications to notify you via email when a customer is looking for any brand, from any region, buying or selling. Emails contain a link directly to the customers listing too.

Can I cancel my subscription?Yes. You can cancel your subscription anytime by navigating to the 'Subscriptions' tab and selecting your active subscription before clicking 'Cancel Subscription'. This will cancel your subscription but not delete your account or the account history. You will also be automatically refunded for any sales proposals remaining on the account.

How do I send a proposal to a customer?To send a Sales Proposal to a customer, open a customer listing in the Marketplace, scroll to the bottom, customise your proposal, and then click 'Send'. This will directly notify the customer of your proposal and send a confirmation message to your account email.

How does carvalue guarantee my proposal has been received and opened by the customer?You will receive a confirmation email from carvalue with your submitted proposal details and be contacted directly by the customer if they want to proceed with your proposal.

What is a similar vehicle offer?You can send our customers 'similar vehicles' to what they are looking for if the option has been selected by the customer, enabling more opportunities to sell your inventory. To send a 'Similar vehicle' proposal to a customer, it must match details entered by the customer, except the 'Make & Model'. You must select this option when submitting your proposal to the customer.

How do I send a similar vehicle to a customer?Only if the customer has selected to receive similar vehicles can you do so. You can do so by: Click on the Marketplace listing Navigate down to the proposal form Select 'Similar Vehicle' and enter your proposal as normal Any clearly ignorant use of classing similar vehicles will result in an account ban.

Can I cancel my offer sent to a customer?Yes. The dealer reserves the right to cancel or withdraw any offer made or given to a customer in the 'Proposal Record' tab. Open the customer proposal and click 'Withdraw'. However, if complaints are made by our customers regarding your dealings, we will hold proposals on your account until a 'Report' is submitted. Proposals are non-refundable once sent.

What happens when a customer has accepted a deal?When a customer has accepted a deal, the listing is removed immediately.

Are sales proposal trade and sales offers estimated?Yes. As we are a website and can only supply images of vehicles and written detail, all dealings are considered "sight unseen", and therefore, all proposals are made up of estimated costs to be finalised elsewhere. However, inventory prices submitted to customers are quoted.

How does carvalue notify the customer with my proposal?We use the verified customer's information to send proposals directly.

How do I know if I can send a similar vehicle to a customer?If the customer has selected to receive similar vehicles, it will be displayed 'Yes'. This will be displayed in the Marketplace listing and on the customer listing page.

How do I customise what Makes, Models and Locations of buyers and sellers I am notified by?Go to the ‘Notifications’ tab. Scroll down to the Edit Notifications form > select make and models > select locations > choose which makes, models etc. for buying and selling.

How many Sales Proposals can I send to customers?Your active subscription will dictate how many sales proposals you can send to customers. If you have no more proposals remaining, upgrade by: Click the 'Subscriptions' tab Click 'My Subscriptions'. Scroll down to the Subscriptions Select a subscription with more proposals Depending on your subscription, you can send up to 500 plus proposals within one month. A Free Trial allows 50 free sales proposals to be sent to customers within 7 days of activating.

How many people can be logged in and using one account?There is no limit. An entire dealership can be logged in, or just a single RMVT.

Is there a record of sales proposals sent to customers?A record of account sales proposal information submitted from your account to our customers is kept under the tab 'Proposal Records'. We recommend refreshing your page and checking the records first before scrolling the marketplace for customers or submitting any proposals.

What is a carvalue Sales Proposal?Proposals are created using the form at the bottom of each customer listing in the Marketplace, where you can add specific details and personalise your offering to each customer.

How can I submit a Report?You can file a complaint or report by clicking on the 'Support' tab. Select the topic, and fill out the form. We'll be in touch to resolve the issue as soon as we can.

What is a trade-in request?Customers can use a form on your listing advert to submit details about their trade-in car including photos. You can use this information to respond with a trade-in offer estimate including driveway costs in to the same car.

How many dealers normally respond to purchase or sell listingsOn average, customers who list to purchase receive about 15+ different cost-inclusive offers from our dealers to compare. Customers who list to sell normally receive 10+ sales offers to compare.

What information is displayed to dealers?The only information we display to dealers under any circumstances are: - Your name - Your region We keep all your information to verify your account but never share your contact details with dealers.

Can I message dealers whenever I want?You are only able to message dealers in response to an offer they have sent you and dealers can only message you once you've responded to their offer. But if you delete your listing, the dealer will never be able to message you.

What if I don't know what I'm looking for?When it comes to selecting the make or model of vehicle, select 'I Don't Know' but include a budget so dealers know your budget.

Am I obligated to proceed with dealer offers?No. We provide you with as many offers as we can so you can compare and find the best car for you.

Does it cost to use carvalue?carvalue is a 100% free service for all customers to enjoy.

What does 'Similar models' mean?When listing to purchase, you can select this to let dealers who don't have your exact model, but a similar model to send it through to you. For example: Your purchase listing: Audi A4 2009 - 2011 A dealer may send a BMW 320i 2009 as it is a similar model of car.

Can I ask dealers to change or edit their offers?Yes. Send a message to the dealer in your 'Inbox' to request a change to your pricing and the dealer (if able) will amend the offer to suit you.

Are all dealers on carvalue licenced traders?Yes. All of our approved dealers are required to be licensed with the Registered Motor Vehicle Traders Licence.

Are all customers verified users?Yes. All customers ave to confirm their email addresses before their account can be approved.

How do I activate my 7-Day Free Trial?1. Navigate to the 'Subscriptions' tab 2. Select 'View Subscriptions' 3. Scroll down and click 'Select' on the 7-Day Free Trial 4. It will automatically activate on your account.
